LessonWriter, Inc. was founded by educators and programmers to improve education with expert-system programming that automates the time consuming arts and tasks of instructional design and school leadership.

Leadership

Founder & President Stephen Churchville is an experienced educator and founder of two previous web companies. Lessons from those ventures combined with his educational background led to the founding of LessonWriter. BA, Education, Fordham University.

Director of Education Jennifer Applebaum is a former math and science teacher with experience in curriculum design and educational management. She is a key contributor to LessonWriter's pedagogical tools, business model, and trainings, and is leading LessonWriter's continuous improvement and growth initiatives. Director of Technology Ayan Babi Pal is a web developer, designer and programmer and guides LessonWriter's technology plans. BS, Columbia University.

Lead programmer Ben Phair has extensive programming experience, including work with two different educational technology projects. At LessonWriter, Ben continues to push the boundaries of the Internet technology and develop new features. B.S, Computer Science, Hunter College..

Patrick Evenson-Phair provides customer service support, participates in social media efforts, and produces short instructional and promotional videos.

Tianchen Li is a web-development intern, who is currently completing his graduate degree at Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. BS, Tongji University.
